Hey, it's Jason.

No official fireworks. No boat parade. No town Labor Day festival. Trash is delayed in three towns, Ramsey Creek Beach is closed, and Friday is the last free Rock the Park. Also: the dirt on 115, and 101 townhomes proposed on Old Statesville.

What's going up

The roundabout on 115 The Cornelius NC 115 / Potts Street roundabout is why Davidson still has 3-way stops at Potts and Catawba, and at South Main and Catawba. They started Monday, Aug 3. No end date is printed.

101 townhomes on Old Statesville Northline Row would put 101 three-story townhomes on about 9.1 acres at Old Statesville Road and Caldwell Track Drive in Huntersville, with 276 parking spaces. A public hearing was continued to Tuesday, Sep 1. Staff recommended denial. Votes are not posted. A final action is listed for Oct 20. That is not a board vote.

16 lots on Washam-Potts A request at 9910 Washam-Potts Rd, Cornelius, would cut +/- 7.01 acres into 16 single-family lots (minimum 6,600 sqft) and keep the existing house. The project page says a town board presentation Tuesday, Sep 8, 6:00 p.m. Granicus has no September Board of Commissioners agenda. Not confirmed.
